Overview
Corporate management reviews
(commonly referred to as “glass ceiling audits”) are
a special form of audit performed by the Office of Federal Contract
compliance Programs (OFCCP), an agency of the U.S. Department of
Labor.
Corporate management reviews focus on those parts of the federal
contractor’s work force (usually professionals, upper middle
management, and senior management) in which the representation of
women or minorities frequently is low. The “glass ceiling”
components focus on
- Recruitment practices
- Placement patterns
- Development programs
- Executive appraisal systems
- Compensation plans
- Corporate “ownership” of equal opportunity principles
at senior levels
The Sable Group is highly capable of performing this type of audit.
The OFCCP procedures are followed in conducting an audit, thus ensuring
that any problem areas will be identified. It is better to learn
about problems from a Sable Group audit than to have the OFCCP find
them. By determining where potential problems are, strategies can
be developed to prevent or correct those problems and thereby prevent
costly fines and penalties.
Choosing The Sable Group for your audit means:
- Clearly defined parameters of review areas
- Strong focus on data collection and methodology
- In-depth analysis of the data with clear presentation of the
findings
- Recommendations to prevent or, where necessary, correct possible
problem areas.
